Welcome to Linden Netball Club.
Linden Netball Club is one of the most successful in England. The club had been established for over 40 years and runs 8 teams. They compete in the Premier League Division 1, West Midlands Regional League Division 1 and the local Birmingham League.
Prior to the introduction of the Premier League Linden competed in the National Clubs League winning it a record 7 times and finishing second on 7 further occasions. Only two clubs (New Cambell being the other) remained in the 1st Division throughout its 16 year history.
The Club caters for all ages and all abilities. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for different teams within the club. Further details are available on the contact us page. New members are welcome at any time - just turn up and join in.
A New Era for Linden Netball Club
After over 30 years Linden Netball Club are moving venues. The club has trained at Harry Mitchell since before some of our current players were born and was there when Colette Thomson first took over the coaching. It is with regret but also with great anticipation that Linden have decided to move to Nechells Community Sports Centre, Rupert Street, Birmingham. The facility offered at Nechells of 2 courts with sprung wooden floors was too good an opportunity to miss. It will mean more court time for all members of the club during training sessions and the chance to offer a variety of sessions.
Training will take place on Wednesday evenings at Nechells from 8pm until 10pm. Linden run 6 teams from this training session and are keen to encourage any players of any age or standard who wish to play netball to come and have a go.
Training/trials will start on Wednesday 1st September 2010.
